described Hann. Münden, where the river Weser merges from the confluence of the Werra and Fulda.
More than 700 half-timbered houses fram all style periods have been refurbished with loving diligence in and
around Hann. Münden, ensuring that the town retains its name as a
European jewel of half-timbered architecture.

In the charming old town, which is almost completely surrounded by river water, impressive buildings such as
the Guelph Castle, the Renaissance Town Hall, peel towers, fortifications and remains of the historic town
wall bear witness to the town's medieval past as a wealthy trading centre.
More recently, fashionable interactive waterworks tell the story of the very special role river water has played
throughout the history of the town.

Our guesthouse is situated right in the green „Wallanlagen“  Park of Hann. Münden, literally just a few
minutes' walk to a wide range of excellent restaurants, shops and interesting sights of the romantic old town.

Our large garden offers a wonderfully relaxing ambient with a pleasant variety of trees, shrubs and flowers.
Walk around and relax, or just sit in one of the comfortable park benches and enjoy the pure peace of the
garden. Untouched nature in its marvellous beauty is only a short ride away, too.

Take a walk or go on a hike you will always want to look back on. Other nearby venues include the Sleeping
Beauty Castle, the Sababurg Animal Park, the Hercules Statue and Park in Kassel, a golg club, an outdoor
public swimming pool and many other attractions.

Hann. Münden is at the hub of the long-distance bike paths along the Rivers Fulda, Werra und Weser, and
boats from Hann. Münden will take you in any direction.

Our guesthouse is a no-smoking house.
However, the terrace and the garden are availale to accommodate our smoking guests.

As our guest, have free use of our car park and our bike stall for your bicycle.
